What a wild sequence of events that was. They killed something like 15/16 of the Caps power plays in a span of 2 minutes, then Bonino sent them golfing in overtime.

Remember when the Pens took three (?) consecutive delay-of-game penalties against the Caps? Boy, that was fun.
I thought I was going to have multiple heart attacks.

Was that the 2016 series? Letang had one of them so it couldn't have been 2017.

it's a win-win with Malkin in the lineup. Either we win the game and are happy or we lose the game and we all get to facetiously blame Geno for the loss and then go to facebook and see people genuinely blaming Geno for the loss and get a good laugh from it

That game was not good for my health. When that overtime chance missed through the crease, I thought for sure we were destined to lose that game and the series.

i guess this is why Komarov is a thing. he'll dry hump malkin to the point of a minor penalty or two in retaliation.

Yeah, but it's been the case...I don't root against any of our players, but I mean, he was absolute pud during the regular season, legit worst player in the league caliber bad...through, I imagine, 16ish or 18ish minutes of playoff hockey, he's provided 4th line NHL caliber stuff...it's very welcomed and I hope he keeps it up...

Petterson has also looked ok. Needs to learn some god damned poise at some point but he hasn’t been the disaster he is at heart.

Pettersson has been his usual **** self. Gets taken off the puck quite easily, ends up on his ass after most hits, and fails to make smart choices when attempting to clear the puck.
