I would rather watch the Penguins with Crosby than the Penguins without Crosby, so yeah it matters to me as a fan. I also didn't think this would be controversial at all.

it does not matter and we'll find out the answer to that in a couple of days

Sounds about right.. Fans allowed back to see the games, and Crosby is not playing.

I like how we spend years making fake trades/roster moves yet asking if Sid had a positive test vs a close contact suddenly does not matter to us

I’m not sure how you can group those two things together, but here we are

meow you're on a bad take hot streak today. Might wanna sit a few plays out
mikey's Thread of Penguin Randomness
Those have nothing to do with each other, and pointing out that fact is not a bad take lol

oh weenie

I don't really understand why Penguins fans wouldn't care if Crosby has Covid or if Crosby was just a close contact of someone who tested positive. But here we are.

Yeah, that's a full moon take to think those two are on the same level...and then to take ya boy meow to task for bad takes, *shakes head* I will shoot you in the face....

lol I'm bewildered at that sentiment but whatever. the difference between a close contact and a positive test is 5 days or so vs 2+ weeks with potentially long term issues. I'm sure the next time a player gets injured you guys won't be interested in knowing how serious the injury is too

My stance was about roster moves vs covid protocol, for the record...

the context of that comparison is that we deal with stupid hypotheticals all the time so real life "injury" news (not a real injury but still) is more important to fans, at least imoMy stance was about roster moves vs covid protocol, for the record...

POJ to the taxi squad. Hmm

They did that last week too for cap purposes. I wonder if they'll bring him back up for the game?

I've seen about all I need to see from Lafferty, Samuel. He torpedoes any line he's on, and is also a penalty machine. Enough.

He was working real hard early in the year and he seemed fine...I don't love him, but he can definitely play over Currie, if those are my choices...

Agreed. These past few games - last night, especially - have been rough ones for him.He was working real hard early in the year and he seemed fine...I don't love him, but he can definitely play over Currie, if those are my choices...
