That is ... wow. That's wild. It's also hilarious. Pretty decent summary for this season.

I'm not really sure what you would do with 18,000 Jagr bobbleheads that you can't sell without everybody knowing you stole them.

There are a few auctions on ebay, but I'm guessing those were people that were attending the game and just pre-selling the bobbleheads. The two posted are just using the promotional photo.

It's not even a good conspiracy theory. They're still handing out vouchers to everybody in attendance. What do the Pens gain by holding onto 18,000 Jagr bobbleheads? A more likely conspiracy theory is the team or the vendor dropped the ball and did not get the order done in time. So they're covering their asses by saying it was stolen in transit. Even that is dumb though.

Woof. I hope this wasn't just a publicity stunt and instead they're just making the most out of a bad situation with the JagrWatch video. I can't imagine a marketing strategy that includes dissuading people from buying tickets to the game.

The release said they were stolen in California. So is Jagr going to wrestle the "stolen" bobbleheads back from SJ Sharkie? I hate it.
