3.29.15 Official GDT: Penguins vs Sharks

Pittsburgh Penguins (41-23-11) vs. San Jose Sharks (37-30-8)
March 29th, 2015 / Face-off Time: 7:30 PM EST

Live from Fifth Avenue and the Consol Energy Center, the Pittsburgh Penguins face off against the San Jose Sharks.

The Sharks took game one of the two game series between these two teams earlier this month in a 2-1 shootout victory in San Jose.

The Penguins will be without the help of Kris Letang who suffered a concussion after a questionable hit from Shane Doan during yesterday's 3-2 victory against the Arizona Coyotes. Letang has been released from the hospital. There is no timetable for his return. Penguins.com is reporting that they will role with 5 defensemen for tonight's game with David Winnik dropping back if need be.

Edit: David Perron IS back in the line-up tonight.

On a personal note, I would like to thank everyone for their participation this week. The response was overwhelming. Let's keep this thing going.

Sharks will be without Vlasic & their backup (Stalock) is starting. Gonna be a very interesting game.

Perron is back in the line-up, at least we get some good news. Will give us 13 forwards and the possibility for Winnik to play some on defense.
