The feeling is "fun". The team, the players and the fans are having fun.

This whole season is eerily similar to the therrien bylsma transition.

It's crazy to see this team face adversity and not get rattled. A few years ago, if we'd let up a quick goal we were toast. This team never quits!

Over the past few seasons, there have been several times when the Pens almost seem to be playing against 6 skaters. Every time we got possession, there was a guy in our face and 2 waiting with support pressure. We would look lost, slow, and frustrated. It makes me warm and fuzzy to realize that we are now doing this to virtually everyone we play. During the 2nd period yesterday, we just swallowed up the Rangers skaters, forced mistakes, and capitalized. It's just glorious fun watching this team work right now.

I was going to say that if the Pens did win the Cup this year they need to fire Sullivan next spring.

The early indications are that Sullivan does not believe himself to member of the frat, so no.

I know the "fire Sullivan" post was a joke, but he strikes me as a coach that straddles that fine line between being a guy for his players and doing what he has to do to get maximum performance out of them. I'm cautiously optimistic he could stick around for a while.

The Pens three cups were all won by coaches not with the team the prior year.

It's now or never Sullivan.
