Well, at this level you can't make mistakes. We made some.

I am still confident we'll win the series if we play like we have the last couple months.

Meh. Pens have played two crappy games and it's still 1-1. Let's hope that with two days between games Fleury will be ready to go on Tuesday, and that Geno will be a beast now that he has a game under his belt.

Am I crazy or is this powerplay zone entry just awful? Even last game. Its not working.
You ain't crazy. Pens might be the worst team I've seen that try to get zone entry on power plays. It's always a big f'ing effort while most other teams have zero problems.
It's the insistence on carrying it in that frustrates me so much.
Its a shame they dont have guys that can win races on a chip in.

He also neutered every powerplay. His shots were weak.

He had how many giveaways in the offensive zone

This was Letangs worst game in a long time. Were 2 of those 3 shots the ones he took on Zatkoff?

And that, dear friends, is the difference between a world class keeper and the backup's backup
Except you really can't blame Zatkoff for any of the 4 goals scored. His save quality was virtually the same as Lundqvist's.

I missed a lot of the game taking my dog to the vet but during the time i watched, the defensemen were all equally bad.

This. Zatkoff gave them a chance to win

I'm talking also about the drop off in offense for the Pens.

And I very much do blame him for the second goal. He was covering the Zamboni door, not his goal. But more to the point, this is what I was getting at after game 1 and trying to tone down the love-fest for Zatty. It was a solid team defense that limited the damage that could've resulted from him not being positioned right, moving poorly, and giving up rebounds. That was absent today.

Guess the Pens aren't going 16-0. Oh well, 16-1 is okay too. :pop:

Ideally, just go 1-1 away and they're fine.

Yup, Schultz for Olli is the logical choice in Game 3. Power play is a major concern right now, the zone entry is just hideous. Retool some things and take it to them at MSG.

I'll be the optimist here. Without the brain fart known as the second period today, the Pens weren't so bad. These Rangers are not a good team. I'm still going to be consistent with my earlier prediction and say Pens in 6.
