Booing the delay isn't nearly as bad as yelling "Flyers suck" during a moment of silence for Ed Snider.

I have no problem with booing the delay. He should have gone off the ice. Booing as he was writhing on the ice, that was uncalled for.

Screaming "Flyers suck!" and people cheering it (although not many) was disgraceful and an embarrassment.

I wouldn't have screamed profanity or flyers suck during an Ed snider moment of silence because as big of an dadholes as Bobby Clarke is, snider didn't seem so bad.

I did chuckle however whenever I heard about it, so maybe I'm an enabler

I've been to a lot of arenas in this league, and Pens fans are still among the nicest. Anaheim's fans were pretty damn nice in the games that I saw at the Honda Center.

We will have to respectfully disagree. I don't think the Lightning felt bad in 2011 when they beat the Pens without Crosby or Geno out there. If Tom Brady gets hurt on the first play of the Super Bowl, do you think the Bears are going to say that winning a title was hollow because they beat Jimmy Garropa-however-you-spell-it? Heck no. Let the media and the historians kvetch about this team was shorthanded, whatever. If Henrik is out any longer, that's just opportunities to get closer to eliminating the Rangers.

Eh, that's just how I've always been. It's not that I would complain or anything, it's just I would always feel like I didn't earn the ticket the way I would've if the other team's best was out there and playing their best. I always took much more satisfaction from playing well in wins against good teams with good players than I did in beating scrubs.

I guess I just have higher standards than everyone else.

I don't think more than a few people boo'ed at the Pens game for the Snider moment of silence. Maybe a couple drunk idiots but it wasn't like it overtook the arena.

The Lundqvist thing, if you didn't see the replay, looked like him just milking an errant high stick. The way he flailed his legs and then went back in the game. They wouldn't of boo'ed if he went straight to the locker room. They boo'ed because he milked it for a good few minutes and then went back in the game.
