This game is meaningless for the Pens, but right now the Flyers are on the outside looking in. They need these 2 points. Let's hope Zagoff and the JV squad can send them packing.

I guess I'm ok with sitting Sid and Letang today. But again, I will go back to what I said at the end of Thursday's GDT -- if you have a chance to bury your rival, you do it. My Bears allowed the Packers to make the playoffs in 2010 when they could have buried them on the final day of the season. They didn't and it ended up coming back to haunt them in the NFC Championship game. But since the Bruins no-showed in their game today (4-1 with 11:30 left), it's pretty much inevitable that the Phlyguys will find 2 points somewhere in these last 2 games.

Well, think of how awesome it would be to win with the B team, now that the BOS and DET losses are giving the Flyers great hope.

I'm all for eliminating the rival when you have the chance, so they don't bite you later. We can still do it. This Flyers team, over the last 3-4 months, has been killed by lesser teams than today's Pens.

I wouldn't want Sid and Tanger to play regardless. Now, I'm going to fret about everyone else's (e.g., Murray, Kessel, Hagelin, Horny, et al's) safety. I'd have preferred to see Zatkoff start, since Murray is our #1 now and playoff insurance policy later, if Flower can return.

Please, please, get out of this unscathed, Pens.
