That only works for accidents and incidentals. Deliberately jabbing a goalie in the throat isn't smoothed over with a "sorry, eh." Not saying someone will spear him in the nads Saturday, but it isn't forgotten.

It depends on how bad it's interpreted to be...if the team feels it's a "serious" offense, they'll get them back, if they don't feel it was anything and the dude goes, "hey, guys, my bad...I just got carried away..." - they'll probably let him slide...they're tougher man for man than we are anyhow, so that helps things too...

I was watching at a bar, so I'm not sure if he got him good or what...didn't seem too too serious...

for those of you not 'round these parts, ^ that drove the philly crew batsh*t crazy. for real, in a big way. they were yelling at the replay and demanded a 5 minute major. and they mentioned that RIGHT at the point where the replay showed macdonald leaping head first into the boards for some reason.

i wouldn't have argued with 2 minutes, btw

Yeah, I said at the bar I was at, I wouldn't have argued against deuce there...especially with the score...but you can't just back into players and get calls, I say that a lot here I feel like...but that one is tight, given the score and the game flow, I might blow it down...but otherwise, it's not a noteworthy play...

The only real complaint I have about this team is that if they're going to keep scoring this much, they should have picked a different goal song.

i suppose there is the outside chance we wrap everything up early and dress sestito next game.

but this is another game where we were on the wrong end of a series of wedgies. makes it something like 75 in a row or so. as proven by us dismantling the league lately, it doesn't amount to much in W's and L's.

but this is the part where i mention it sucks to watch.
