I can't believe I'm saying this but I think this team can make a serious cup run if it can get Olli and Dumolin back.

Bennett back for forward depth....

This team doesn't seem to have any weaknesses anymore

Daley looks like a bona-fide 2nd pairing anchor.

Sidney is having the most fun out there, that I've seen in the last 7 years.

Hornqvist is an unsung warrior out there.

For as much as I hated on Letang earlier in the season, he's gotta be top 5 in Norris votes this year. [Doughty, Karlsson, Keith, Letang, Subban]

It does feel like the team is getting got at a good time. I'm trying not to be too unrealistic with my expectations, but I am feeling quite optimistic going into the playoffs. It does feel like a 'different' team in terms of attitude and approachcompared to the last few years.

Let's Go Pens!

The only thing I hope for, is with the limited amount of games left we don't lose Crosby/Letang to some fluke injury.

With how we're getting contributions up and down the whole lineup, now would be a good time to remind everyone that there was actually a point to being fed up that Craig Adams was on this team for so long. Having a bottom 6 with a cohesive purpose...kiiind of a big deal

I was just talking about this with a friend - a youth movement combined with a coaching style that doesn't put you purgatory for one mistake has really seemed to be the biggest aspect of "fresh air" this team seems to have been missing.

I have to think that plays well with the core players and top line guys - when they see the younger guys get to be creative and put it on the line out there, that filters even over to them and you let that creativity and skill bleed out onto the ice for once instead of a robotic system that I'm sure every team in the NHL has video on.

it's easier to tell a guy like rust to be creative when he has actual NHL players giving him some space and helping out when creativity goes awry...as opposed to a guy whose NHL ability expired in june of 2009.

Yeah, the contributions of the 3rd and 4th lines cannot be understated in this run. Those guys are all in and aren't just trying to not make mistakes, but to make an impact every game, even every shift. Every shift looks like it has a purpose now. It's really exciting to watch.
