WTF?! I thought that was an instant whistle?
I think they don't blow it if there's an impending scoring chance

wow, so this team's second period is pretty historic for Sid/Geno's careers too

our goal differential in 15-16 is the best single period of any Pens team since 05-06...the next closest is 07-08 3rd period with 26 goals (which is currently 13 12 goals behind)

Fleury should have thrown it off.

Lundquist would have tossed it into the crowd

At the very least, he didn't go crazy and throw the net off its moorings.

Yeah most goalies would purposefully shake the helmet off in that situation. Can't really blame the ref for not seeing it was loose.

Oh my God, shut the **** up, Sid...starts with Kessel's great release and then Crosby things and then distance goal from Letang...
...huh?
It was an affectionate STFU... Translation = wow

Fleury is backing up his words a little bit vs. Hank. He's a gamer, stays in with the mask strap clearly snapped. If he shakes it off, it's a whistle...but the ref can't really blow that down with the mask still on...

not sure how much it would affect things, but I think any shot that hits off a goalies head should be whistled dead immediately (if the puck ends up in the net then it'd count as a goal). There's too much noise about concussions nowadays...it would look really bad if a goalie was concussed by a shot but kept playing

Made them pay! Hornqvist getting in the kitchen and a great shot from Daley.

As we learned from the leaked emails, the NHL cares very little about concussions.

That's a rule in a lot of leagues. It should be in all leagues

Hornqvist deserves an assist on that
NHL gave him the goal. Of course, they changed the original call of Crosby unassisted to Horny from Daley and Letang.

Seriously? lol, Hornqvist couldn't have had his legs any wider on that shot, like somebody was shooting a truck tire through his legs. It went dead center through him.

Yup, I rarely miss a game now, which is a big contrast to the last couple of seasons

I have only turned off two games before they ended this season, and I swear they were both against the Devils.
