Eh, that's just how I've always been. It's not that I would complain or anything, it's just I would always feel like I didn't earn the ticket the way I would've if the other team's best was out there and playing their best. I always took much more satisfaction from playing well in wins against good teams with good players than I did in beating scrubs.

I guess I just have higher standards than everyone else.

I agree with that when I think my team is historically good. But I'm surprised you feel that way with Malkin injured.

If it's the Steelers and they skip the patriots on way to a super bowl it's not as satisfying. If it's the pirates but madbum hurts his elbow in the first omg I don't care go bucs!

r/NHLStreams usually has high quality youtube streams, at least during the regular season

Regular season was great but MLBtv has killed all streams in playoffs. That subreddit is useless now.

Regular season was great but MLBtv has killed all streams in playoffs. That subreddit is useless now.

Second this. The NHL/MLBtv is cracking down HEAVILY on streams atm, and the subreddit can't be used because any link posted is immediately shut down if possible.

I'm not sure how well NHL.tv itself will work for the playoffs. If the game is on NBCSN or another Universal TV channel, NHL.tv will be blacked out outside of Pittsburgh or NY. I use a VPN, so it works for me (sort of, desktop only, apps use geolocation that overrides the VPN).
