Ehrhoff did nothing, nothing. He was brought in to be a PP guy, couldn't do that. He was more delicate than if you put eggs on skates. Now I remember why I left this place, you get assaulted if you disagree with "popular" opinion.

Yeah, actually you're right. Only because he rarely played on the top PP unit. Instead they went with a guy who can't pass the puck for one-timers, can't get shots through, won't take shots, and can't make a decision. So yeah, he couldn't be a PP guy, because he wasn't given the opportunity.

Just for the record, I don't think it's crazy to have not wanted Ehrhoff back over the summer. It would have been a gamble to re-sign him, since he was hurt so much, and because of that, really only had 4-6 weeks of really solid play last November-December. It clearly would have been a gamble.

I thought it was a gamble worth taking though, since you could see the hole in the top-4 that we've all been complaining about coming, and he was one of the few FAs who could conceivably have filled that hole and fit under the cap.

Play is fairly close, but Kings have like 3x as many shots. Pens were down by 3 at one point

It's higher because 31% of Pens fans don't wear jerseys on Saturday nights in December.
