My apologies again for the idiocy of the NBC programming department. Every blasted cable system and hotel network gets USA. If people want to watch the battle of Florida, they can change the channel. Hardly anyone gets NHL Network so how about giving us the live look in on Leafs-Habs so we can see, oh, you know, THE LEADING GOAL SCORER IN THE LEAGUE.

I don’t remember much of the overall sentiment after we re-acquired Kapanen other than mikey’s standard lack of enthusiasm for any player that doesn’t require scrounging up black and white silent film highlights to evaluate, but I’m very impressed with his work rate at both ends of the ice.

He's really showed me something this year as it has gone on...and these playoffs have been stellar for his compete.

I got more than a couple texts when we got him that were less than affectionate about, well, a lot of his mental game and compete. Looks like he's finding himself here...credit to whomever deserves credit for that, our coaches, our veterans...whomever...

The Malkin line is going to be responsible for at least one goal against tonite. Zucker can't clear the puck to save his life. Geno isn't 100% and can't make the finesse plays he normally makes. Kapanen's trying but he can't be cloned. The last 3-4 times they've taken a shift, the Isles forecheck has swarmed them.
