This is advanced scouting. And it's been done to a T. This is a well-prepared club thanks to Sullivan, Martin and Tocchet.Yeah what the f is with this trend? Please just put the puck on net. Stop going behind the goal.
Advantage for Pittsburgh is high hockey sense forwards: 87, 43, 59, 71, 81, 13, etc.
Disadvantage for Columbus is low hockey sense defensemen: Jones, Johnson, plus inexperienced players in Harrington (though smart), Werenski, the young Swede (Carlsson?)...
Limited hockey sense d-men are not often taken advantage of in 1-on-1 situations or even most even money rush chances...the advantage is gained in cycling, sustained zone time. In even simpler terms, drag dumb players out of the way (corners, behind the net, above the circles) and then beat them back to the nest...note: three players behind the net on the OT winner (7, 58, 17)...Dubinsky recovered to come out in front to protect the net with both d-men behind (big no-no in my world), but was still mesmerized by Sid and lost his check...lost the game.
Advanced scouting and preparation personified in the Sullivan-Crosby connection...

I don't know who it was, because they barely said a god damn word the whole game. they also have jody shelley, who is mentally retarded, as their potashYou had to listen to Jeff rimmer? Tell me that's not what happened.I learned that the CBJ booth crew should be shot with real cannons

Guentzel. Sheary. Rust. Wilson. Oh yeah and Sprong. And Sid and Geno. And Kessel.
F'ing forwards man. We're all set basically forever.

Don't let Crosby's play behind the net distract you from the fact that the Blue Jackets blew a 3-1 lead.

Despite the crazy injuries, i have no doubts about this team's potential. Cup win feeling more real.

I don't think CBJ can cobble together a better performance. I wouldn't think less of them if they just conceded game 4 and didn't waste people's time.

Not a hater, but I'd agree with the first 2 portions of that statement. But as Steigy says, sometimes you need a little puck luck."Terrible rebound, he got lucky, he sucks so much."

Giving everything and down 3-0. Just can't compete with speed and skill of Pens. Despite having 3 assist, we need to see Malkin start popping them.I don't think CBJ can cobble together a better performance. I wouldn't think less of them if they just conceded game 4 and didn't waste people's time.

My night is almost ruined by an Andy delmore sighting in the graphic showing rookie playoff hat tricks.

@meow, out of curiosity, is there anything MAF could have done differently with that initial shot? I mean, pass off the pads just happens sometimes, right? Not a hater, but I'd agree with the first 2 portions of that statement. All 5 CBJ players were within a stick length of their net on the GWG.
How long was that unit out there? Lazy, lazy defense by them
