OFFICIAL GDT: PENS VS BLUE JACKETS 4/4/15

Today, your Pittsburgh Penguins (44-24-11 - 95 Points - 4th in the Metro - 7th in the East) battle the Columbus Blue Jackets (38-35-4 - 80 Points - 5th in the Metro - Eliminated from playoff contention).

The Jackets are hot, hot, hot. The Penguins are not, not, not.

Blue Jackets come into this afternoon's match up having won their last 8 straight games, 11-1 in their last 12 and 7 of those wins have come against teams currently in the playoffs in both the East and West. Meanwhile, the Pens are 4-6-2 in their last 12 games and are trying to hold on for dear life to make the Stanley Cup playoffs. This is the first time that their playoff lives have been in doubt this late since 2009 (a good omen?).
