Penguins Home Game Ticket Prices
Just scanned TiqIQ, was very surprised at the prices.
Most Pens home games are considerably lower than I would expect; even compared to last season.
Previously the Pens had one of the highest right there with NY/BOS/CHI...now many games are under $50.
I checked other teams on TiqIQ and nothing else stood out like this; so it'd hard for me to believe this some kind of data error.
Anybody have any details?

They either opened up a lot more seats for new season ticket holders or are still having a hard time selling them. I've moved up 200 spots since July but I'm still in the 2200 block. They offered me tickets in July, and then called me again a few more times closer to the season starting.
It's possible that either the prices for tickets are peaking even with ultimate team success, or the fans are still spoiled and don't care about October hockey. Or any hockey until Round 3 of the playoffs.
