We are all undoubtedly riding high today after the complete dismantling of the Filthy Flyers yesterday afternoon. Tonight, the Pens have a very tough task ahead of them against what is probably the best Capitals team in the history of their franchise.

Regardless of what happens tonight, this has been an incredible stretch of divisional games for the Pens. 6-1 with the lone loss against the Islanders. More importantly, they are starting to heat up offensively, even with Malkin out of the lineup. That being said, the power play has been a major concern, as it has looked incompetent without 71. Against a team like the Capitals, it's very difficult to compete for a win with bad special teams play. Hopefully the PK can look as good as they did against the Flyers.

Keep it in perspective. A win tonight (or even a point) would be fantastic, but a loss is not the end of the world nor would it be unexpected. Get it done boys!
