Of course Rust signs a new contract and immediately gets hurt, because why wouldn't he?

Am I alone in thinking that I like Daley over Letang on the PP?

I think I prefer Letang over Daley over Shultz.

Can't watch the game, but I'm seeing some people complain on Reddit that Boychuk's hit on Rust was dirty. Was it a clean hip check?

It was borderline, imo.

It looked to me like he targeted the knee.

It looked borderline at first. Then they slowed it down and it looked like a clean hit.

I wouldn't call it dirty. It was a hip check that caught a knee. Unfortunate injury.

The hipcheck started out clean and what happened is that Boychuk lost his edge and ended up kind of submarining him, which made it look worse and likely caused the injury. Wasn't a dirty play on intention, but the result doesn't look good because he lost his balance performing the act...tough break. Boychuk is a pretty tough, but honest, player, he gets the benefit of the doubt...

2-0 Flyers, outshooting the Wings 21-2 in the 1st. It's the Wings, not the Pens, who should be really worried.

It seems whenever i watch the Wings this season, Larkin is their best player on the ice.

I wouldn't mind seeing Kessel actually do something useful this game. You know, for old times sake.
