If I were going to guess, I'd say it'll be Niclas Anderson. It's a total shot in the dark, but I've heard nothing but great things about his play in WBS. Very, very good defensively. He's also a UFA at the end of the season, so the Pens may want to see what he's got before deciding whether to offer an extension or let him walk.
He was also a healthy scratch recently. Mostly due to a numbers game, but still.

Andersen is also there, as is Tim Erixon. Almost forgot about both of them.

Oh lord just saw David Warsofsky is the likely callup

Yes because calling up a career minor leaguer Is totally in the best interest of this team

Oh, this team..... This **** team man
Come on man...no rational human can act like this...

Over a ****** call up...a player you've never seen before to boot...

I'm not saying it's right, wrong or indifferent...but the reaction... :face:

Maata out 3-4 weeks. All things considered, this is good news.

Warsofsky is a much better puck mover and skater than Oleksy I believe...I've never been impressed with the latter...
Isn't Oleksy a bit of a ... angry player? I wouldn't mind a little extra shove in front of Fleury from time to time.

No - he said "angry" not "snarly".

I don't particularly care for Oleksy, and thought Warsofsky looked better overall each time I saw them play.

No way. If I used that nickname, I'd force myself to quote Super Troopers every other post.

I originally typed gritty and was like "NO!" and changed it.

Has Andersen been a healthy scratch in WBS?

I guess his old club in Sweden would like their captain back if that is the case ;)

I know that Pens has dozens of no 6-7 defenders, but it doesn't feel good that someone that occasionally plays for the national team of Sweden barely can make the AHL team of an NHL team that has a weak defense...
