From Elliotte Friedman's latest 30 thoughts - http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/30-t ... challenge/
25. Matt Cullen on Marc-Andre Fleury: “(Former teammate) Pekka Rinne is so fast. You’d shoot on him in practice and an arm or blocker would come out of nowhere. But Fleury is lightning. And, he never embarrasses his teammates. No matter what happens, he never stares them down, nothing. Guys love playing in front of him.”

Behind a youthful Penguins defence, that’s valuable.

So, we're keeping Sprong past 10 games. I sure as hell hope he starts seeing more minutes (or any minutes at all?) to make this worthwhile. I'd still prefer him to be sent down now.

Does the nine-game limit mean nine games actually appearing on the ice, or nine games played by the team?

Keeping Sprong in the NHL only to scratch him makes zero sense.

Pretty moronic to keep Sprong here and then not play him, though at this point it seems par for the course for the franchise.

Is there a definition for public drunkeness? As in this means he was totally steamboats or could he just have had a few but it was noticeable?

He needs one more to tie Ryan Stone's record:

Plus he wasn't naked like Nathan Smith was.

WBS being they key. It's probably akin to being in Delaware.

It was over the weekend.

Also, if you're under the assumption that there isn't a sizeable amount of NHL players who get drunk at points during the season, then, wake up.

He isn't nearly accomplished enough to rationalize that.

I wonder how many years in a row it's been that Staal rumors have come from Eklund... it's gotta be a lot.

We do have plenty of cap space to take on Eric's two trillion dollar cap hit...so once again, the rumor is fake and the wind-up is impossible...very good stuff.
