That's because Sully is the phantom GM and hates young guys. He has all the power.

Looked like it might've been a rolling puck/flipped up on him while he was trying to one-touch it

Sorry for the random tidbit...but man, Raivis Ansons really upped his production this year...just six points last year in the AHL as a rookie, but kicked it up a notch to seven this year. He had two separate stints in the Cheese too.

Dead on arrival picks gonna......die...amirite?

Not a Pens prospect anymore but Nathan Legare somehow managed to decrease his production this year to 12 points in 54 games

Yeah, he really didn't gain any ground after being picked...I thought he had a chance to be a role player because he has some sandpaper. But he's the reason we drafted Ansons...and they're both headed for the Cheese probably...

WBS led 3-1 after the 2nd. These losers will fit right in.

Fewest GP from drafted Russians since 2006.

Team (Russians) | F GP | D GP | G GP = Tot GP
Seattle (1) 0 + 0 + 0 = 0
Chicago (7) 0 + 0 + 0 = 0
Pittsburgh (6) 0 + 0 + 1 = 1
Calgary (9) 0 + 1 + 0 = 1
Boston (5) 9 + 0 + 0 = 9
Colorado (9) 0 + 10 + 0 = 10
...
St. Louis (12) 1654 + 0 + 0 = 1654
Tampa Bay (15) 1576 + 170 + 477 = 2223
Washington (11) 790 + 863 + 782 = 2435

We're not dead last! (Thanks to that emergency Pechurskiy start)

Recently, Russia seems to be where the Pens have found some talented mid-late round flyers. Not sure who they hired for that.

And Montreal (Laval) decided that they saw enough of him and moved on from him after 39 games.

He's in Utica now, or at least was at the end of the season.
