In case you need a reminder of how scary Letang's hit was... (NSFW language).

I didn't realize it's been so long since Geno played a full season

despite my name change, he is still my homeboy. I'm worried he's becoming..."injury prone" *dun dun dunnn*

Serious question here... Do you think Letang will play again? I'm kinda worried that he's the new Pronger.

Far too early to tell that... I wouldn't be surprised or disappointed if he doesn't play again this year. Give him time to recover. Pronger's injury was much different. I think if we've seen anything with concussions it's that no two are exactly the same. I just hope he doesn't come back too soon.

I totally forgot Olli Maata was on this team.

Seeing that look on his face... And with multiple previous concussions... I'm really worried about him. That was bad pie.

I think Letang is done for this year, career it hard to say. Everyone reacts differently to concussions, its still a very vague injury. Some people have long term symptoms while others don't

I think you have to shut him down for the year and give him time off to recover

When I think about our roster for next year, I always forget to include him.

I dont disagree with that. Do they do the same with Ehrhoff or to they throw him out there since he isnt in the teams LT future?

That would be grossly unethical.

"Eh, the guy isn't in *our* long-term plans. Let's send him back in too early after a concussion so we can ruin his career."

I am not saying throw him out there too soon. But if Letang were cleared at some point during round 1 I still dont think they use him because of his injury history and investment they have in him. If they clear Ehrhoff during round 1 I think they try and toss him out there.

One of the big bullet points on the Hornqvist acquisition was that he is durable. Never played fewer than 76 games in a full season. He'll play 64, baring any other injuries this week. #cursed

Johnston said there is a chance Letang and Ehrhoff could be ready for the playoffs.
The fact that there's only a chance... this season just sucks. And yet, we're STILL somehow in the playoff race (and were in the driver's seat most of the year).

I dont want to use the word cursed, but man I cant think of a different way to describe the luck of this team. It is just unreal the amount of injuries this team has sustained.

Various twitter updates.
Official - Coach Johnston on Derrick Pouliot: “It’s day-to-day with him. Upper body. We will see if he is available tomorrow."

Rorabaugh - Johnston: Pouliot day to day. "Upper body." Spaling missed practice due to a "lower-body" ailment. Expects Spaling to play tomorrow.

Yohe - Pouliot is day to day. Might play tomorrow. No updates on Letang and Ehrhoff. Downie says he will be ready to go tomorrow.

Isles are also dealing with some injuries...
Martin and Nielsen still not practicing for #Isles. Hard to imagine they'll jump back in tomorrow after not skating for a week.
Include Grabovski & Carkner in that group. Grabovski & Nielsen are two big injuries for them.

I don't think Spaling gets enough credit that he hasn't missed a game all year. Guy is effin tough, especially since everyone else but Scuderi has missed some time
