I'd be glad to participate if there winds up being enough vacancies. Looks like Craig's friend and Beveridge are in front of me on the waiting list.
We need to get this started.

Idoit's friend will take Hammer's team again. Beveridge can then take his pick from loaf or shad. And you can get the other one.

Does that work for all?

I am gone from 8/7 through 8/15. So are we ok to start on 8/16 drafting?

Loaf's final roster - Players that can be kept have the round drafted next to them in parentheses.

Dwayne Allen
Keenan Allen (16)
Doug Baldwin
Le'Veon Bell
Giovani Bernard (3)
Dwayne Bowe (13)
Martavis Bryant
Eric Ebron (7)

Allen Robinson (17)
Denard Robinson
Roddy White (4)
Russell Wilson (11)
Phil Dawson (15)

Loaf traded his 4th round and 6th round pick in this years draft to cheesesteak

Keeper rules
You may keep a max of 3 players by giving up a draft pick in the round earlier than the round he was drafted the previous year. So for example Roddy White would be kept for a 3rd round pick this year.

You may not keep players drafted or kept in the 1st and 2nd round the previous years. For example, Le'Veon Bell was kept for a 2nd last year so he can not be kept for a 1st this year. Arian Foster was drafted in the 2nd last year so he can not be kept for a 1st this year (not that anyone would do that).

Players must be kept on your roster for the entire season to be eligible to be kept the next season, or you can keep players acquired via trade as long as they were not dropped to waivers by a team during the year. Players that were not drafted can not be kept.

If you were to acquire two players that were drafted in the same round and want to keep both players the next season, you must give up a draft pick in the round earlier than the round the players were drafted in the previous year, and a pick in two rounds earlier than the round the players were drafted in the previous year. You are able to determine which player is kept for the lower pick and which player is kept for a higher pick. For example, Kraftster kept Julius Thomas in 2014 for a 15th pick and acquired via trade Mark Ingram who was also drafted in the 15th round (by Mikey). He has so far decided to keep Ingram for a 13th and Thomas for a 14th.

Roster rules
There are a total of 17 roster spots. You may start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (WR/RB/TE), 1 K, and 1 D. There are no IR spots and there are no limits on number of players you can have for each position.

Last year there was only waivers (3 days) when a player was dropped otherwise players could be picked up at any time as long as they hadn't played for the week. So a player that played on Thursday couldn't be picked up until Monday. Likewise, a player that played Monday could be picked up anytime prior to the Monday game start time. Players that played could not be dropped for a FA until Monday. Waiver wire order was based on last person to make a waiver claim going to the back of the order. I may be wrong on some of the waiver points.

Draft
Serpentine draft performed offline on the board. There are 17 rounds. There historically have been no rules regarding how long you have to make a pick, but we have in the past put rules in place when drafts have lagged. Draft picks can be traded for other draft picks or players.

If you have traded for more than 17 picks you can only draft 17 players, but are allowed to throw out any of the draft picks of your choice. If you have traded away picks so that you have less than 17 picks, you can fill out your roster when the draft ends, but none of the un-drafted players are eligible to be kept the next season.

Draft order in the past has been determined randomly.

If any of the above is incorrect, please feel free to post a correction.

I placed the rules in the original post along with the keepers that have been declared so far. I assume @LITT is coming back even though he hasn't declared that yet.

Beveridge you get first choice of team. So choose wisely.

One question on the keepers:

Say I take Shad's team and one of my keepers is DeAndre Hopkins. He becomes my fifth round pick. I can keep him next year for 4th, the year after for a 3rd and then I can keep him one more year for a 2nd.

Players drafted in round 1 and round 2 can never be kept. Players kept for a 2nd round pick can't be kept the following season.

Am I understanding the process correctly?

I've updated the 1st post of this thread to reflect the keepers announced so far.

Still need keepers from Craig, Craig's friend, mikey, LITT, and cheesesteak.

I'm keeping AJ Green for a 3rd and Odell Beckham Jr for a 6th.

Also, I have Loaf's 4th and 6th round picks.

Is there a drop dead date on keepers? I still have one more guy I am considering.

Finally, I am willing to move Green or Beckham for a RB keeper.

Still trying to decide on Brady, who I can keep for a 5th, but dont want to if I lose him for a third of the regular season. Hopefully him and Roger settle their differences soon lol

mikey, last year you traded Mark Ingram to Kraftster for Andre Ellington and Matt Forte, so you can't keep Ingram. Ellington and Forte can't be kept either as they were kept/drafted in the 2nd and 1st rounds respectively.

I'm going to keep Josh Gordon and try and stash him. Too valuable to give up and I have no other decent keepers.

For the record, here is my pick situation:

Traded:
Kraftster 2nd in 2015 to Kicksave in M. Forte trade
Kraftster 3rd in 2015 to Idoit/Craig in D. Thomas trade
LITT 5th in 2015 to LITT in D. Thomas trade
Kraftster 6th in 2015 to LITT in D. Thomas trade

Received:
Idoit 1st in 2015 (in D. Thomas trade)

Also, realizing that I dealt for a certain 12th overall 1st rounder last year if we change the drafting system this offseason makes me resistant to instituting that change this year.
