I went in to try and input the rosters, but I don't have commish status.

Kraftster is the only that can input rosters right now.

Would the new keeper league be as in depth as the other one? I just couldn't keep up with that one.
Part of the reason I bailed on it after the first year. Just way too much to keep track of.

Kraft, can you just set it so we can add the players on our own?

I could use a third keeper, I think. I'll be keeping Julius Thomas for a 14th and Mark Ingram for a 13th.

Also, I'm pretty sure I have Craig's 5th rounder this year. I think we swapped 5th last year for 5th this year during the draft.

Also also, I have LITT's 5th this year and he has my 6th from the Carlos Hyde/Demaryius Thomas deal.

Add me to the waiting list for the football league if there is one going for when replacements are needed.

I think I have someone's 2nd rounder

Edit: I have Kraftster's 2nd rounder.

Keeping

Luck (4th)
J. Hill (9)
A. Morris (11)

Vereen (12) and Cameron (8) if anyone is desperate. Would trade for 17th round picks.

Most likely keeping:
Sammy Watkins - 4th Rounder
Cam Newton - 7th Rounder

Not sure if I'll roster Josh Gordon for a 14th rounder all year just to keep his rights. Don't really have any other worth while keepers.

What is everyone's stance on swapping draft slots?

In my league, which is a two player keeper league, they determine the draft order randomly. ( I know we've been doing that in the LGP league, and I think that needs to be changed now that I realize why it's bogus).

So, the draft is order is determined randomly, I have the fourth pick, and want to move down. The guy with the ten spot would prefer the fourth. We asked the league if we could swap positions, and two guys went ape ****.

Then on top of that I learned that they picked the draft date as the night before my wedding. So for the second year I can't be there to draft, and the year before they screwed up my list in the last rounds.

I think I just need to bail on this league.

We do a live draft and i travel from out of state. Everyone else wanted to do the draft on a sunday. For the second year in a row i have skipped the league for this reason. Im not going to sit there while everyone else is hammered just to draft for a league.

It's a 14 person league, and the draft date decision was made based on the availability of the guys that decided the draft date. It's the day of one guy's wedding and the day before mine. So it's not even that we could draft remotely. I would have at least like to have been part of that discussion.

I see no issue with people swapping their draft positions. Did they have an argument as to why they were against it?

Only two actual reasons were given for negating that prospect.

1. I forget the wording, but it was implied that swapping draft slots was akin to "choosing" where you wanted to pick.

2. One guy reached out to a coworker (a fantasy expert? apparently). And this expert said it was preposterous.

So there was no actual response to what we were proposing to do. I mean, if they had at least said the correct reason (which would be manipulating the draft position to get more value from your keepers), I was then ready to counter that, if keeper decision impact the draft pick values, then we need to have the draft order determined by end of year standings.

But anyway, if you guys agree, I think we should have the draft order for the LGP league by end year standings. (sorry to those were pushing for that before).

And also, one guy said that the 10 spot was way better than the 4th spot. Which, one isn't true unless, like me, your keeping players in odd number rounds.

I've been for having draft position based on prior year's standings for a couple years, so fine with me.

If we do it based on prior season's standings, rather than just doing reverse of standings, how about we let last place select their draft position first second to last pick next, etc?

And for the record, i dont care how we do it, i think the current set up is fine.
