No, you kept him, I didn't. It was my first fantasy hockey league and I thought having an abundance of forwards at the expense of d-men would be a hindrance.
He had a Crosby-like start to the season and somebody said I looked like a genius, but of course that ended quickly.

OK -- I'm just looking for @TheNail25. I've PM'd and sent emails. he did renew with the league.

So, I just sent an email to the last remaining team - picklestabbers, @TheNail25, stating he will lose his team tomorrow morning if I don't get a reply from him by then. Anyone have any prospective owners in mind if it comes to that?

We need a new owner guys - any ideas??

So, I think I'm just gonna fold this league. Not one person responds to emails or questions, we are short one owner and we have less than 2 weeks until the season starts and no draft started. I've done my best to run it with a very demanding job. I can't keep chasing everyone. It's been a nice run, perhaps it's time.

I appreciate what you do, and would be open to a live draft in order to give us more time to try to find the last owner. Unfortunately, living in Kansas City I don't have many hockey crazy friends, and none that are I to the fantasy aspect.

Just that I want it to go on, i certainly don't want anyone scrounging around for a new owner. If no one on the board wants a team I'd consider that reason enough to either cut the league to ten or fold.

I'm kind of in Troy's boat. I commish for pretty involved hockey and football leagues. I've honestly been forced to practically pull all nighters to get those leagues ready, so I 've been too lazy to jump to help out here.

I dont mind managing the draft i just have no desire to harass people to get someone for the league.

Can we just start the league 2 weeks late? Skip that initial week and half long opening matchup?

Agreed - I'd suggest snake the whole draft - a lot of good talent will be available then.
