The eye test easily favors michael if thats where you want to go.

Right. So, now you understand my love C.Mike...you'll also understand how that did not work out on that or any team that picked him up for reasons unknown.

There was a 5-person bidding war...a war that exceeded that of Le'Veon Bell in his rookie year...in my main dynasty league for him...it's not just some weird pipe dream that I (and possibly Craig) have...the guy is talented but doesn't play because...Seattle...? Who knows...

Rice's feet probably weren't as quick lateral and slightly backward as Rawls are even...

but this would make sense if he was a proven NFL commodity...he isn't.

a 7 footer in the NBA is a hell of a starting point for a player, but plenty of 7 footers have become "literally whos". At a certain point it goes beyond physical talent...ability to consume a playbook, ability to not be a shitty teammate, ability to read blitzes, etc.

Seattle isn't the only team that sat his ass on the bench too. Darren McFadden of all people excelled in a role while C Mike never saw the field.

This has nothing to do with your argument about the eye test. When he plays he looks like a better back. Im confident Pete Carroll and Jason Garrett would say the same now, last year Nd would have said it 3 years ago as well. Its something else that holds him back.

my eye test point was about Rawls. I don't know how you could've watched Rawls last year and not think he was a tremendous back

if the Seahawks take away carried from Rawls to try to give Michael a chance, they're making a mistake.
You got us into this michael vs rawls discussion.

my eye test comment came in response to mikey saying the Seahawks don't necessarily trust Rawls

My main, auction dynasty league draft went down this morning...all told (keepers and newcomers): [8-team league, PPR]

QB: Drew Brees | Jameis Winston
RB: Le'Veon Bell | Frank Gore, Devontae Booker, Cameron Artis-Payne
RB: David Johnson | Jeremy Langford, Kenneth Dixon
WR: Odell Beckham, Jr. | Keenan Allen, Kevin White, Malcolm Mitchell
WR: Brandin Cooks | Tyler Lockett, Josh Doctson
WR: T.Y. Hilton | Sterling Shephard, Tajae Sharpe
TE: Gary Barnidge
Def: Arizona

Also talked everyone into removing the kicker position immediately...so they're gone...

With 8 people in your league I would have anticipated a much better line up

Two first rounders two 2nd-3rd rounders, a couple 4th rounders...by early draft slots, id say thats easily a better than average team.

Yeah, it's agreed upon by most people in the league that it's just about the best team in the league...two top-5 RBs, 4 top-20 WRs, possible top-5 QB and TE and likely top-3 defense. Not that I was dealing with a completely fresh start either...it is a dynasty league, so other players were kept...but barring injury, I likely moonwalk to at least the championship game with that team...

And except Brees, the team is young. Look at those WRs...ew, so good.

I guess he felt the need to counterbalance the completely inaccurate response.

Yeah, I see that top three and then the second tier group of WR as a stud team. TE might bust though.

So is what TL said. The only other TE that was available that was decent was Gronk. Couldn't get him...so Barry Garbage was the best presumed target monster available...

fantasy pros has Le'Veon Bell as number 15 overall. His suspension is almost identical to last years and last year he was arguably the number 1 pick overall...what the hell is up. am I missing something?

edit: forgot about the knee injury. But still...Lamar Miller over him? no **** way bruh

alright, first draft, not sure how I feel about this. 14 teams, .25PPR

QB - Blake Bortles Jax - QB
WR - Allen Robinson Jax - WR
WR - TY Hilton Ind - WR
RB - Jamaal Charles KC - RB
RB - Carlos Hyde SF - RB
TE - Travis Kelce KC - TE
FLEX - Emmanuel Sanders Den - WR
Justin Forsett Bal - RB
James White NE - RB
Dion Lewis NE - RB
Steve Smith Sr. Bal - WR
Will Fuller Hou - WR
DeAndre Washington Oak - RB

my bench is full of hail marys. I didn't want to go with low ceiling guys that probably have higher floors. I don't think that's really worth it for the most part

DeAndre Washington is a fun pick. On the contrary, I was very surprised after I did my 2016 rookie class ranking that Will Fuller was the 2nd WR taken in the NFL draft, I rated him 15th out of 15 that I ranked haha...

Starting RBs are good for 14 team, I'm buying high on the Jags offense improving (even if A-Rob doesn't himself necessarily)...I wouldn't have drafted any of those other 3 WRs, but I don't know what else you had to choose from...

I like deandre washington a lot. I think he takes over week 5 against the chargers and is the starter for the remainder of the year.

I <3 Latavius Murray and that Bell/Langford type running style...so I won't subscribe to that out of that pride...but DeAndre Washington has some skill...and I'm excited for Murray to be a Colt soon...

I liked Murray a lot starting with his first year in the NFL, but he has been pretty disappointing for the most part. He should have blown up last year and only presented decent numbers because of volume of touches.

I wasn't happy about the Hilton but he was the best available by far...he was my late third round pick

Yeah, that's a tough break...a guy who had to play most of last season without an NFL QB but is still 6th in rec yards over the last 3 seasons combined (including now-retired Megatron), it's a real shame he was probably like the 19th WR off the board or whatever...
