I've got some maddening decision on my team that I have to make every week, and for the most part, I've been missing every time, so I figure I'll try to get some help this week.

Assuming Lamar Miller is healthy, I have to start a RB2, WR2, and flex from the following:

Gio Bernard (vWash - london)
Jeremy Hill (vWash - london)
James White (@Buf)
Will Fuller (vDet)
Donte Moncrief (vKC)

non-ppr

Hard to play Hill over Bernard. Indy is a pretty high powered offense so I think Moncrief at least has a decent floor when he plays.

Bernard
Fuller (unless Moncrief goes)
White

I had half a thought to just go Bernard RB2 and Hill flex and guarantee yourself a floor...but really, that's not overly palatable:
Bernard + Hill this year
2+9
17+5
3+21
3+7
9+1
8+3
14+24

Hill has the higher chance for TDs and Bernard offers less to you in a non-PPR. White is irrelevant in non-PPR. See if you can read into the matchup and then flip a coin...then add Moncrief if he's going as he has better hands and is more of a RZ threat than Fuller...oh, I guess Fuller is the flex play then...? Unless you want a reception-dependent RB in that spot, which is remotely understandable I guess...what's the O/U for the NE game, if it's over 45 or 48 or so, maybe go White...

I don't mind the double Cincy play. In fact, I felt very comfortable with it coming into the season. Let's see why I now hate these guys.

1: Hill - Right (9 vs. 2)
2: Gio - Right (the one really good call I made this year) (17 vs. 5)
3: Hill - Wrong (3 vs. 21)
4: Both - Wrong (ugh-10 total)
5: Hill - Wrong (1 vs. 9)
6: Gio - Right (9 vs. 4)
7: Gio - Wrong (14 vs 24) (though he out-touched Hill and this was sort of fluky)

So combined they're averaging 18.3 fp/g. Last year at this point they were averaging a combined 22 if I remember correctly.

Against Washington (bad run D) and after last week, I guess you kind of want to lean Hill, but Hill has a habit of being nothing but up/down. I remember last year out of the gate he went: 18.3, 0.1, 2.1, 24, 2.5. Lol. Fun times.

If it's a bad team, then play both. Houston doesn't find scoring to be essential to the process anyway...

soooo happy I snatched Davontae Booker off of free agency a couple weeks ago. In a 10 team league, I've got:

Matt Ryan
Russell Wilson (blah)
Lamar Miller
Todd Gurley
Latavius Murray
Booker
TY Hilton
Crabtree
Alshon Jeffery (blah, but hoping things get better)
Terrelle Pryor
Corey Coleman (just grabbed him today to keep in my back pocket)
Kelce
Matt Bryant

I'm sitting at 4-3, and only four teams make the playoffs, but I definitely feel like this is the best roster I've ever had at this point for the season. I'll be pissed if it doesn't play out, for whatever dumb fantasy luck reasons.

I have Booker in 2/3 leagues but in the one I don't have him in I dropped him midweek last week for Knile Davis.

Then Arian Foster retired and naturally I had him...

haha yeah, I had Booker rostered all year but dropped him this week because Knile Davis seemed to be entering the role of "actual running back" for Green Bay. I was guessing he'd be in line for 10-15 touches including goal line runs while Lacy and Starks were out. Booker was also still behind CJA at this time.

In fact I tried picking up Booker before Sunday but for some reason the waivers in the league didn't allow me. I'm the commish so I could've fungled with the waiver settings but that would've been sketchy as ****

Here's another in a long line of you betting on situation instead of skill and getting burned...

Knile Davis - not NFL caliber running back. Got no touches against a WR in the backfield (lol).
Booker - Has talent and starter upside in this league in my book AND he plays for the team you like, and you should know that CJ Anderson is not exactly unbeatable in his role...

That's mind bottling...it just bottles the mind...

I mean, Davis was on the team for only like 2 days before that Thursday game. It makes sense that he didn't get a ton of touches

it doesn't matter, I should've dropped Foster anyway, not Booker. I've made so many mistakes in this league that I'm starting to care less about this one. I'm 2-5 and unlikely to make the playoffs at this point

looking good in my other two leagues though

Pick one. Latavius Murray, Golden Tate, Pryor.

If Pryor is healthy, strongly leaning that way against the Jets defense and McCown starting. Murray is touchdown dependent I feel

Pryor wasn't on the injury report since Thursday. I roll him.

It doesn't matter what defense I stream, every week they give up a TD on the opening drive. This week it's the **** Jets.

Ty Montgomery out. Fire up Jackson or Davis if you're desperate.

Heres where I'm at: Down by 14, he's done. Thanks to Montgomery not playing, I picked up sproles and currently have Jeffrey going tonight. Double digits is in no way a given the way things have been going for those two, would Cole Beasley be a better bet even with Dez back over Jeffrey?

Woulda been a non issue but I mistakenly had J Stew in the flex spot and was locked in when I heard about Ty Montgomery. I would've just played them both.

Constantly playing the highest scoring team of the week is getting old. Need Minnesota's D to score about 3 TDs tonight...

It's absolute **** you can't pick up players after the first game starts. If I have someone on a bye I should be able to grab a replacement as long as their game hasn't started.

I'm up 2 points going into MNF and my opponent only has one player left, a kicker. And I didn't start a defense which is our biggest position in this league. Argh.
