Fitz and Newton would have won you some money.

The Rams Steelers game ended up killing me. I thought Foles would be able to attack the Steelers secondary downfield, also so the Rams were intent on taking away the deep ball, Broeth methodically moves the ball downfield in the first quarter..and then they decide they have to chuck the ball deep? So all that ended up with was an INT and him dancing around the pocket. What a dunderhead, that sack and injury is on him.

I won my H2Hs but did not do so hot in my tournament plays. I finished just outside the money in my 143,678 $1 for $10k game. One of those weeks where I mixed and matched the right calls across different teams and never in one team. That and my foolish belief in the Jags offense did me in.

eh, looks like I'll be done with one week leagues after what's left of my initial deposit runs dry. Way too much variance from week to week. Plus, I have a innate hatred for full PPR leagues

it's still beyond me how the government doesn't consider it gambling. It's on the same level as poker in terms of luck

Its not gambling because you are paying to enter a game. You are accumulating points toward a prize.

It's the same exact model. You buy into a game of skill and a % of the field gets a payout, and the winnings are tiered based on final position. Maybe if DFS establishes itself as legal after a challenge, it will open the door for tournament poker.

That is not the same thing. In poker you are directly betting with money. There is no veil of prizes based on yards and points.

Do you understand the difference between tournament poker and a cash game? Not being snarky, you just don't seem to grasp how much DFS resembles tournament poker.

I'd also contend thst poker takes much more skill and concentration than DFS. Pro poker players make a living playing one entry at a time. Pro DFS players play hundreds.

Missed money in the other because Ben got hurt...

You may be able to eke out a profit on 50/50 guaranteed games

Won money in my two tournament games (~3000 people and 171,000 people)...lost in the smaller ones (250 and 50 people)...no complaints...while the JC garbage time touchdown cost me my Packers bet, it did help me win in Fanduel...so, bright side...

I have read why one is a le to be considered legal and the other is not.

Giving DK a shot this week. Definitely like spending money on a flex instead of a kicker.

The price differences on the two sites is pretty interesting.

yeah, I'm over daily fantasy already.

I only did 2 head to head games this week and all four lineups (my two and the two I'm going against) are just variations of the same roster...all four of Devonta Freeman, all four of Julio Jones, 3/4 have Amari Cooper, 2 have Bennett and the other two have Clay, 2 have Karlos Williams and 2 have Lance Dunbar. Just not that fun for me

I got one non-QB TD in my best group (Hurns)...I had the yards/touches down, but no one got in the end zone...pulled Martellus Bennett out of my good group last minute to go with Greg Olsen. Pulled Devonta Freeman out of a group last minute too, but not in my good group, so it wouldn't have mattered really...

Gambling bust all around this weekend for me...close calls on parlays, got smacked in DFS, lost $100 playing blackjack...but beasted in season-long fantasy and got two upset wins coaching hockey...life is fair I suppose...
