5AF Fantasy Hockey Keeper League

In this format, this is very near equivalent to someone dropping Sid, Ovechkin, etc. If this was a team taht's been around in the league for a while that's one thing, but I have a hard time believing this was not a mistake.

Should we ask him about Coture then? He was left off too, which I found odd.

It's hard to argue with his keepers though. He was pretty loaded.

It's very easy to argue against keeping Tyson Barrie--or every other skater listed on his keepers--over Corey freaking Perry.

Well, I would agree with you there. But, his team is still loaded at forward.

Maybe he thought he could slip him through to his first pick?

I would have never thought to look for Corey Perry to be available either.

Yes, I did it on purpose. LITT gave me a dearth of forwards, and more coming up next year.
If I'd had more time I would have been talking trades, but we needed to get the draft moving ASAP.

I've got 6 top 30 forwards, Perry right in the middle @ 15.

Barrie is a stretch, but I've still got to play 6 Dmen. The only knock in my mind is that it was poor asset management to not turn Perry into someone better than Barrie on the blue line.

Dang, I was hoping to re-draft Nichushkin but not in the first round. Maybe at the end of the 2nd.
