COVID-19

It's already there. I don't need a COVID-19 message on every single homepage I visit. I don't need the stars of HGTV telling me to stay home and stay safe. I don't need to see celebrities in their **** mansions singing Imagine. I don't need GrubHub pretending like they care about local businesses so...

COVID-19

I made the mistake of going down a COVID rabbit hole last night and read a number of articles about how we're going to need to 'lockdown' ourselves every other month or so for the next year+ in order to keep things manageable. Probably shouldn't have done that right before bed, because I'm pretty s...

The Crosby handshake controversy and the fans booing makes me laugh every time. The Dead Wings haven't done much of anything since. But yeah, that 3rd period was the classic sit on the 2-0 lead and hope the clock runs out play. I still remember sitting in a bar and going through about 4 beers in th...

I lucked into seeing some special Lemieux moments in person including his "final" home game in 97 and his return in 01. I'm bummed I missed the prime years of the early 90s, though. Maybe that's why I always felt more connected to Jagr than Lemieux during the mid to late 90s.

I'll never forget that 2000-2001 season. First time being a season ticket holder and getting to watch the Lemieux return in person. I missed out on the first Cup years because I was a bit too young, so Lemieux's return was probably the biggest thing I got to witness in person.

COVID-19

This is good news, sure, but it's also one of 20 or 30 or probably more "potential vaccines" in development. The talk about the UPMC vaccine felt like a PR push more than an actual medical breakthrough. How do we decide on THE vaccine? Is there one clear-cut winner or is it like brand names? You can...

Maybe. Does anybody know if positive tests still need to be vetted through the CDC? UPMC could have a lot of results that haven't been reported due to that vetting process, I suppose.

Maybe I'll give it another go. The dutch angles, quick cut montages, cinematography, and weird interludes really put me off. Felt like mid 90s MTV.

From the WWE rumor mill. While Carmella i...
