Man, I wish MLB.tv would get their sale on. I could have sworn it had been on sale by now, but I guess it's not until Mother's Day/Father's Day that it drops significantly. ESPN had some of the games on early last season, too.

home theater, cord cutting, video streaming, a/v tech, and more!

It's been five years since we've had cable or satellite, and yet I watch more TV than ever. Is my cord really cut if I use my parents' xfinity account to watch HBO, AMC, and other networks programming? Not live, but usually the next day. Plus Netflix and Amazon Prime, too. If I didn't have access to...

Ringo Starr bumps elbows with people instead of shaking hands. Maybe why he hasn't aged much in 25 years.

I just worked with someone who said "pacific" instead of "specific," despite my repeated attempts to over-enunciate the word correctly so she wouldn't sound like an ignoramus.

Related: people who say "liberry" instead of "library," especially people who should know better (i.e. are librarians).

I was just thinking about the Sopranos the other day, how great all the principal actors were. Except, in my now nearly 10 year recollection, A.J. Is he as bad as I remember? I need to rewatch the series, probably do that over the summer.

I use my phone to track my reps and weight amounts, so it might look like I'm reading/texting, but I'm actually got my spreadsheet open and filling it in. Pfft to these luddites that use a notebook and pencil!

Wasn't the first scene of Cersei and Jamie talking over their father's body shown immediately after the end of last season?
I believe that was Joffrey's body?

Not a lot of turnover in sports journalists/personalities in Pittsburgh - a lot of the guys we complain about in this thread were working when I left the city in 1990. :pop:

So weird to see a "Previously on Game of Thrones" feature at the beginning. Usually, the first episode has an extended opening scene before the title sequence. Also, as I noted elsewhere, HBO Go worked flawlessly for me last night. I really thought it would be down with all of the new Sling and stan...

Source of the post You and I have different definitions of "full lineup"
Yeah, I meant only the proper number of skaters dressed and available for the game. I don't think this team will ever have a full lineup.

I feel the Pens are playing with house money in the playoffs. Shouldn't (probably) be there in the first place, so maybe they'll go play relaxed and at least make it an entertaining series. And have a full lineup to boot!

16795 I do wonder, how did you guys price your goods? IIRC, we used to add up ingredient costs and then double that to cover labor costs. That more or less will get you a baseline price. Obviously, if you are doing intricate fondant icing decorations (that are time intensive), then you charge more ...

15427 Speaking of Sinatra.... unexpected highlight of "All Or Nothing At All" has been hearing the interviews with Frank where he liberally seasons his conversations with f-bombs. Yeah, those were great. Some of the archival interviews Gibney got had never been heard before. And Sinatra walked out ...

Also: Magnum P.I. is on Netflix.

Frank Sinatra guest starred on S7E17 as a retired NYC cop. A sweeps rating gimmick to be sure, and I want to watch the whole thing, but during the "what's coming up on Magnum" they showed Frank beating some ass and getting thrown in jail. Awesome.

Huge set piece battle along the walls of Paris. Very well done, almost Blackwateresque. Much smaller budget, but really well done.

You have to remove the "s" from the HTTPS and the URL must be in the correct format. That's the part that gets me hung up. As for musical instruments, I played trumpet and piano for years but fell out of practice over the years. Stupid teenager stuff. One of my greatest regrets is not sticking...
