20418 THAT'S IN-ENGINE FOOTAGE?? Running on what hardware? Skynet? There is a playable demo mode on PS4 that looks just like that, according to some Battlefield bloggers/YouTubers that saw the game in the studio in Stockholm. They claim it will be 60FPS on the PS4. The game runs on a modified versi...

House of Cards Season 3 I almost spit out my coffee when I saw Doyle from Boardwalk Empire as this serious writer on the show. A couple of times I thought he was on the verge of that goofy laugh that Doyle does... Good character though. Enjoyable season, but Doug creeped me out for most of the...

Source of the post I think the big problem is that Superman is a really boring character.
Yeah, I've always thought that. I've never been a big Superman fan. Or DC Universe fan, for that matter.

Watched the trailer with my kids this morning. They were fired up, but wondered why Han looked so old. :face: I'm assuming that it will be a PG-13 movie? Or will Disney "force" it to be a PG? I don't think it matters much, but it will probably be the first PG-13 movie my kids will see in a theater. ...

I've always been under the impression that Iwo Jima was captured primarily as an emergency runway for B-29s on their way to/from Japan. A fighter wing or three was stationed there as well. Cool story: My sister dated a Navy Corpsmen, attached to a MEU that rotated from Lejeune to Okinawa for trainin...

Source of the post Nope. I've dismissed it based on the title. The only SH movies I watch are Batman.
I think you'd like DD. Like Batman without the butler and utility belt. Plus, he's blind.

Man, The Americans has been so good this season. So many reveals. So well done. This is a very minor spoiler, but more of a commentary of the time the show is set in vs. now: Henry's obsession with the handheld football game is really hilarious. I know the writers came up with that minor plot device...

Yeah, I'm 41 years old and really got excited when I saw the Millennium Falcon, the crashed Star Destroyer, and of course Han and Chewie at the end. Like I've been listening to the original score and wanting to tell everyone at work about it. Of course, I work with mostly menopausal women, so no one...

Yeah, the Navy Doctor/Nurse and Lawyers couples are (usually) trainwrecks to watch - which is a good thing. Phil's forced questions on the finish mat (Any chemistry? etc.) aren't a good thing.

Man, I wish MLB.tv would get their sale on. I could have sworn it had been on sale by now, but I guess it's not until Mother's Day/Father's Day that it drops significantly. ESPN had some of the games on early last season, too.

home theater, cord cutting, video streaming, a/v tech, and more!

It's been five years since we've had cable or satellite, and yet I watch more TV than ever. Is my cord really cut if I use my parents' xfinity account to watch HBO, AMC, and other networks programming? Not live, but usually the next day. Plus Netflix and Amazon Prime, too. If I didn't have access to...

Ringo Starr bumps elbows with people instead of shaking hands. Maybe why he hasn't aged much in 25 years.

I just worked with someone who said "pacific" instead of "specific," despite my repeated attempts to over-enunciate the word correctly so she wouldn't sound like an ignoramus.

Related: people who say "liberry" instead of "library," especially people who should know better (i.e. are librarians).

I was just thinking about the Sopranos the other day, how great all the principal actors were. Except, in my now nearly 10 year recollection, A.J. Is he as bad as I remember? I need to rewatch the series, probably do that over the summer.
