Wife and I started watching season 3 of OITNB last night. Realized we didn't remember a damn thing about last season. Might need to rewatch before we progress with this season.
That's when you go to wikipedia and read the synopsis.

Somehow, people have already watched the entire new season of OITNB. Unreal. That said, I'm looking forward to it. People are nuts. I like stretching it out over a couple weeks. Netflix is releasing the show Between as weekly episodes. If it was a show people actually cared about, I'm sure there wo...

Orange is the New Black "dropped" on Netflix 6 hours early. As hard as I try, I just can't get into Peaky Blinders. I might put that show on hold for a few weeks and go through the new Orange season.

William Regal started the show with a 10 bell salute.

Also, the crowd chanted "Fight Owens Fight" to the tune of John Cena's theme.

We just started Peaky Blinders. So far so good. The setting is really interesting. It's not a time or place that I know much about so I'm hooked.

Read the recap. I'll be skipping this RAW.

I don't understand the decision to split J&J Security and Rollins. Obviously it was going to happen eventually, but this seems way too soon and rushed. It'll feel even more pointless if it's just a setup for a swerve on Sunday.

I'm out on Mystery. The Britney Spears' one was awful. here's the mystery: Some wannabe author saw a tabloid pic of Spears holding her book. How did she get it? Did she like it? Host attempts to contact Spears, and ultimately does by buying an "all-access" ticket to her concert. Asks her about the ...

The Late Show podcast is really interesting. Most of these companion podcasts are just garbage advertising for the show, but Colbert seems determined to make the podcast about the process of getting the Late Show ready. Should be good.

I just finished A Confederacy of Dunces. I enjoyed it. Confederacy of Dunces is one of my favorites. The story behind the author is pretty heartbreaking also. About 3/4th's of the way through Confederacy of Dunces. Ignatius is easily the funniest character I've ever come across in literature. I lov...

I can see where you guys are coming from with the Cena cancer kid "cheap pop" but just think for a second what it did for that kid. The kid was crying. The mom was crying. As a "bonus" PPV, it delivered what it needed to. Solid opener with the tag match, huge newsworthy match with Cena/Owens, a new IC champ and a solid main event that furthers an angle. Not great after the Owens match but not horrible either.

The Chamber is such a stupid looking match with stupid rules. And the rules apparently mean nothing since all you have to do to enter the match is break open the pod. I know the wrestlers have said how unforgiving and painful the steel is, but it doesn't look that way the fans. It's silent when you ...

Yeah. That first season of Startup was fascinating. That's what made Gimlet unique. Now it just produces a few random shows that are not as good as other similar shows.

Right. The idea of a podcast network was talked about as if it was some groundbreaking thing. But Carolla Digital, Smodcast Network, Earwolf, PodcastOne, and I'm sure many more all existed long before Gimlet was an idea. Not to mention NPR and other traditional radio networks that had podcasts of th...
