Tax Season
I can't imagine the shitstorm that would happen here if we had to pay local taxes. Hey, stuff might actually work if they had such taxes. Likely not. Our state comptroller and treasurer are fighting over who's to blame for $1.8 billion sitting in a pass-through account. No one knows where it ...

Ugh, what a tough break. Having that much runway can be a blessing and a curse, make use of it. I didn't like being all Negative Nancy here, but I feel like our little group here is well over 50% turnover from our last jobs in the last two years, many of us all or partly involuntarily. It seems to ...

We have non-technical people in technical sales positions. I guess the thought was that we could either find business/sales people and teach them the tech, or find tech people and teach them business/sales. It's cheaper to do the former, so they went that route. Now, there are some that are great. ...

LinkedIn isn't too bad in my field (or at least with the connections that I have). I was at a show this week and I had 4 people comment on how much they like my linkedin content... I shared this with the clique via text, but I figured I'd share here too. I was giving a talk on Wednesday, and a guy ...

My kid accidently hurt the dog last night, unclear what he did but the dog yelped in pain. She has been shaking and keeping her self separate since. We have kept him separate from her, but she still shakes when she sees him. And she is nervous around us too. I am just not sure what to do to get her ...

A friend was venting about a situation in a condo they bought regarding internet setup. Apparently the Verizon folks need access to the ground floor unit's outdoor space to help setup everything. Said neighbor is refusing access unless he is present, and his next availability is in 2-3 weeks. Which ...

The burbs have good schools though. I grew up in Wenham, and my dad would ride the train in to Boston. About 50 minutes and now $300 for a monthly ticket. Cheaper than a car payment, insurance, and parking for sure. But yeah. Still need a car out there to do anything unfortunately...and the houses ...

If you want to look on the bright side - you don't have to deal with selling a home simultaneously, which is the **** worst. That's true. We just have to hope we find a place by the end of our lease or we will have to find a new place to rent, which would mean multiple moves with a dog and baby and...

Good luck. I’m guessing you’re looking in the burbs? Or somewhere in the city? We are attempting city, but I guess our price point and location is quite competitive. So we have to waive basically everything to even get an offer accepted. I want to be able to walk places. I hate driving and don't wa...

I had never planned to buy in Boston, but when my landlord raised our rent by $600 per month this upcoming lease renewal we are changing course.
We have barely even started and this is such a stressful process.

This hurt to readIf the content is so "high gravity," the meeting should've been scheduled better. Maybe that's something that should be taken offline so we're given time to download this info and synergize with other BUs to leverage a more agile approach before we circle back on this topic.

mikey I mostly WFH and there is literally no way I could watch my kid and work. Not from birth to now at just over a year old.
I am baffled that some of you in the channel were able to do so, even with naps. He was his own full time job.

Are there any non-profit organizations in the Pittsburgh area that take donations of toys that then distributes to areas in need: low income homes, orphanages, daycares, etc.? Correct. Just like an auto loan, you need to ask for a payoff amount and it will have a valid to date My loans transferred to a new lender. I paid off loans previously with the last lender and didn't have this issue. I was so excited to have two more loans gone then this extra step is annoying :face:

I paid off two off my student loans the other day. Or at least, I thought it did. I logged back in to setup new auto payments for the remaining loan and there is 0.21 and 0.40 cents on each loan I had paid off. I know for sure I had put the right amount in to pay it off. So what? It gained that inte...
