Making It Interesting (Sports Betting Thread)
a person in my friend group had our $50 on a Rangers-Red Wings game a few weeks ago despite not knowing anything about hockey I wouldn’t say I’m a super proficient gambler but I’ve been doing it for 10 years and I know all sports pretty well and man it’s crazy how loose people can be with money like...

with a player like Graves, how do you even “coach him up” at this point? he’s old enough to have inertia in his play style and unfortunately that style is “being bad”. No defensive awareness, not quick enough to recover and doesn’t really do anything offensively

possibly for the aviation thread but I would’ve assumed that the teams would own their own jets; not charter them through an airline. Especially not United
I guess that means the Rays probably use Spirit

I've been in the Salesforce world for the last 8 years which has a proprietary language called Apex, which is similar to Java, and also Javascript I wouldn't say I like it, but it's more of a nice little niche. For me it's less about the language and more about the application/product and how engage...

completely caught off guard. I had noticed that someone else was in the 1:1 with my boss but I assumed it was his secretary who helped to set up the meeting I admit I'm not the hardest worker of all-time (because **** that noise) so I'm guessing my boss and the guy who's absorbing my team discussed ...

tbh the “how many kindergarteners could you take?” convo is more interesting
though this is where being short will hurt me. I’m sure someone who’s 6’2” 250 would have a much easier time. I bet some kindergarteners would make it up to my shoulders

thanks for the condolences I'll admit it's very emotionally complex but not all bad. After I had resigned from my other job 2 years ago I kind of realized that I wanted to get out of the corporate hellhole. I eventually got back into it with this last job (a bank) because there was the promise of bu...

yeah there’s significant circumstantial evidence that an active ref, Scott Foster was in cahoots with Donaghy. I love basketball but it’s a greasy story
tbh this is one reason why I really appreciate the NHL. I think it has the most balanced and dare I say trustworthy refs in any sport

Give me an equivalent name of anyone - whether they're on the trade market or not - that you think makes sense. Or...I'll meet you even lower...give me a Penguin equivalent of who makes sense to you in a 1:1 trade. "I'd trade Jarry straight across for another Puustinen" or "I'd trade Jarry for a 23...
