Who Are You?

5706 Well, and a good forum needs mods who are not absentees from regular board discussion. In my opinion, anyway. Drive-by moderation doesn't work in this community, imo. You really need to know the temperature of the board, the inside jokes, and of course have some background with the cast of cha...

Just Another Podcast Thread

One of the unintended consequences of of having a commute that's only 30-minutes each way (as opposed to 90 minutes-2 hrs each way) is that my podcasting has all but ceased. That's also in large part because I've found a current event/news show on Sirius that I really like: The Michael Smerconish Pr...

The one-click option would require uploading the image directly to the forum, tho. That could get into some dollars for server storage. As it is for me, when I take a picture of something I like it goes to Facebook, Pinterest and Picasa (the links are share here are from Picasa), and then it uploads...

Commercials that I hate

Ever since I cut the cord and went straight Netflix/Amazon Prime I have pretty much been spared commercials....but man that Lily AT&T is awful.
Someone on the old board professed their desire for her.
Her name is Milana Vayntrub.

Two observations:

RBR switched brake suppliers for 2015, and this was the first time they ran in super hot conditions.

The children (Sainz Jr and Verstappen) have been impressive.

So Iran is backing forces fighting ISIS, while also backing forces fighting our allies in Yemen, Saudi, etc, and have the stronghold goverments in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen. So it is truly a cluster. Has tif been to any of the Basque restaurants in Bakersfield? (Asking for a friend.) I have not. I also am of the school that "money in politics" is one of those things that when compared to what Americans spend on candy at Halloween it really is not that big a deal. Where should I get some grub?

I ve been to two top flight Thai restaurants (New York and LA), which have ruined all others for me, so I just don't go.
We have the largest population of Thais outside of Thailand. Jitlada and Lum Ka Naad are the best, imo. But the actual best Thai restaurant I've been to is Lotus Of Siam in Vegas.

Sid grows a better beard than I do. When I was still playing I made this big anti-playoff beard fuss; I don't believe in superstition, it's bad luck. (Har har) The real reason was because I couldn't grow a beard if my life depended on it. I could not shave for two months and it would just look like...
