I don’t know any paint contractors, but we’re only talking two gallons here, and the BO50 deal works fine for me. I made the mistake of bringing a sample home, and my daughter likes it more than her first choice, but my wife and I think it’s too dark in her room, lol. Gonna let her see the paint for...

Daughter wants a TV in her bedroom, and surprisingly my wife is on board with it. I’m on the fence myself. If we do it, I’ll give her our bedroom TV (LG C2) and just buy myself a new one (LG C4).

I've used Sherwin Williams Emerald for everything here - matte interior, satin and gloss exterior. Great quality, thick paint - consistency is closer to pudding than water. Goes on easy and looks great. As to cost, I try to plan ahead and buy during their 40% off sales. Yeah, I can’t do much about ...

Man, I don’t know what they’re thinking at Fitbit, but the clock faces that they offer are all atrocious. Not sure my wife would like any of them. Wish Apple made a smaller face under 40mm, because sleeping with one of these just seems odd. May just buy both and let the wife decide which one she wan...

Apple watch battery life is disappointing coming from fitbits This is really my only concern. Since she works from home, I was going to 3D print her an Apple Watch charging stand for her desk so that she could just charge it there. She has had Fitbits forever, so if I don’t go that route, I’ll like...

Decided to pay up and look at Sherwin Williams paint for my daughter’s bedroom. Pricey, but everything in reading says that it’s well worth it. Gonna need to sand down all of the animals I painted in her mural, and then use tinted primer as the base. Two gallons of Emerald for two coats, and hopeful...

Were the candy corn and coffin lights your CAD work or did you find them somewhere? Found them both on MakerWorld.com, though I did modify the lid to incorporate another cat design I found. The only stuff I’ve designed in CAD are basically organization things and replacement parts for around the ho...

I haven’t uninstalled it yet, but I’m trying to only ever use the tab that shows just the people I follow, since they’re all industry-related. And I only use the website while at work, no more twitter on my iPhone.

Garmin watches are superior to Fitbit/Pixel anyway. Yep. Better than Apple Watches as well. What makes them better? Doesn’t make sense to me to go that route for my wife since the Apple Watch will give her more functionality. Design wise, I know she prefers the square/rectangular shape faces over c...

Stopped in to my new Amazon Fresh today to see what kind of stuff they carried. Overall impression? Aside from the cars that allow you to drop items in and leave quickly and being an Amazon return center, I don’t see any real benefit to this store. Small inventory, priced higher than my local grocer...

Washed my car again today. I'm liking the Opti Clean waterless wash, but I need to find something better than the Eagle Edgeless microfibers that I have. They just do not do a great job, and I have to go over parts of the car with my Optimum towel to clean it up.
