You almost need an entire kitchen for those breast pump parts. Wash, boil, dry, pump and repeat. I guess that leads to a point for the single basins - easy for baby baths.

The issue with single basins is that you have to use the same basin for washing and rinsing. Eventually, the soap ratio dwindles to the point where you have to apply more soap. Also, there are times I use the basin to thaw frozen meats when I don't have time to thaw overnight. That takes up the enti...

Gotcha. We actually have a very similar situation, except we already have a 26" single, and a small dishwasher. It seems like we run the darn thing every day. Our kitchen is plenty big, but it seems the designers didn't utilize the space very well. If I didn't already have a ton of projects lined up...

Replace the double basin with a single... I'm surprised you are replacing a double basin with a single. I don't get the appeal of a single basin. The house we just bought has a single basin, but we can't justify a double since our space is too small. Perhaps I'm missing the appeal of the single. Ca...

I don't miss those days. Someday, somebody smarter than me will come up with a way to circumvent a lot of the issues that come with buying/selling a house. I really think much can be done regarding the buyer/seller relationship. Each hire their own spokesperson when in reality I think most of the ne...

What's everyone's thoughts on draai laag?
I remember having a sample of a couple of their beers at the beer fest a couple years ago. The only name I remember is Simon Girty. Either way, I came away impressed and plan to try more of their beers next time I'm in Millvale.

We took our 1-1/2 year old to Kennywood on Saturday for his first amusement park adventure. He seemed a bit nervous on the Kangaroo, but didn't cry. Surprisingly, he lost it on the Turtle. Spent the good part of yesterday afternoon clearing out the garden at our just-purchased house. There must have been 100 volunteer tomatoes growing! Eh I disagree, but that's fine. I think they made the most of the situation. Remember, the Appel draft was the first year of the new drafting rules. I would take Meadows over Appel right now...Appel's bad decision saved the Pirates from themselves, but they never should have drafted him in the first place. Just read a podcast on Grantland on the new show. Apparently CBS was all ready to take on the show but at the last second pulled the plug. TV Land swooped in and took it from there.

You're trying to use your TV as an audio switcher, and that's a bad idea for a number of reasons. Optical cables (in practice) don't have enough bandwidth to carry the two main bluray audio codecs (Dolby TrueHD and DTS-MA). So you definitely want to send an HDMI cable from your bluray source to you...

However, the audio is really lacking through the optical cable. The music and sound effects are somewhat muffled, even thoug...
