Hudler is probably the slowest skill player in the NHL...and is coming off of a big year, there's no reason to buy high on him...not that I think he would do poorly here necessarily, but it's just not good asset management...what little assets we have... I would like to reiterate my support for signing Joel Ward.

I honestly believe Despres may be the most overrated player the Pens have traded in some time. He's much more Noah Welch then Markus Naslund.

- Joel Ward, 34, made $3m last year with Caps. If he doesn't re-sign with DC, he'd be a top target on a 2-yr contract.
