I watched Bliss (Amazon Prime) with Owen Wilson and Salma Hayek. Interesting premise, but goes off the rails in the final third of the film. - I have real issues with Owen Wilson acting a serious part because of how many thousands of times I sat through the movie Cars. I hear any straight dialogue f...

I got a box from Amazon for a pair of socks I ordered. It had that bubble wrap in it. Really?

The Athletic has something by Matt Cooke on Tom Wilson. Anyone have a subscription? I'd love to see that too. @DigitalGypsy66 Matt Cooke has been where Tom Wilson was Tuesday: hogging hockey’s spotlight for all the wrong reasons. Most sixth-round draft picks don’t go on to play over 1,000 games, sc...

Game of Thrones Discussion

You know, I'm starting to wonder if this series could be better than its predecessor because it isn't tied to books (that may or may not have been written yet at the time of filming), like a Rogue One. Like we know it's a GoT property, but we have little or no expectations because there isn't 3000+ ...

I would imagine home building drops during the late fall/winter months for most of the country. For us, it’s a reasonable time of the year to work outside.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to an arena concert, and I guess I shouldn’t be surprised by this, but 2 upper deck tickets for Genesis in Charlotte came out to $520 plus fees.

What’s the secondary ticket market looking like these days? Will those prices drop at all before November?

IIRC, there was a lot of the “Matt Cooke was a Penguin” and “Mario was a dirty player” type of comments from the usual suspects (Wysh, Larry Brooks, etc.)

Star Wars discussion (SPOILERS INCLUDED)

Well, it looks a hell of a lot better than what they used for the Jedi Training Temple at Hollywood Studios. I think they used the toy extensible ones that you whip down and the saber blade locks in place. You have an elaborate Kylo Ren, Phasma, and Storm Troopers in elaborate and authentic-looking ...

Haha, I started laughing maniacally when I saw we got a Renewal by Anderson flyer in the mailbox. My son was like "Are you OK, Dad?"

Inside FAF joke, can't explain.

Evidently, they are in our area now and/or someone is getting new windows in our neighborhood.

At least here in Coastal NC, people have already moved on We were in Myrtle Beach on Saturday. Very few masks and lots of PA and OH plates (already!) One of the restaurant employees (who was wearing a mask) said customers from up north are enjoying the lax mask policies. So there's that. But I'll t...

Yeah, they are most definitely contemporaries. One of the main characters says "Jim Greer is a helluva an agent" to his niece, so it appears that they exist in the same universe. I think you'll appreciate how and why the baddies are targeting Tier 1 operators by the time the movie concludes. I think...

Yeah, my wife started labor on a Thursday morning and got sectioned Saturday morning. It was pretty horrendous. We went from a birth plan with a doula and no epidural, to a c-section and epidural. The doula was like, "I'm out." She was very anti-epidural and c-section, but my son wasn't coming...
