Copa pushed back 45 minutes due to fans rushing the gates. Truly a CONMEBOL master class

I know this is Conmebol but I’m starting to worry about 2026. They cannot repeat the turf situation again.

It looked like most of the fans that were there were Colombian... Might be a lot of angry Argentine fans waiting outside afterwards. What a disaster.

I saw the video of the crush at the front, it was legitimately fear inducing. Could have been very bad.

Colombia dominating so far, but nothing to show for it. Feels like Argentina is going to get a cheapo soon.

Crosby knee 2009 > Messi ankle 2024

With everything that happened before the game, how would you like to be a first responder in Miami tonight? That postgame scene might get pretty ugly. Could make Charlotte look like a minor argument.

Southgate resigns. Meaning he's out.

Resigning before he got fired. Smart.

He'd be a decent coach for a lesser team that lacks talent and needs to play defensively, but England has some great offensive skill players that were pigeonholed into that scheme.

Leading them to their first continental title since 2012, Spain's Luis De La Fuente guided La Roja to a EUROs title on Sunday. Ahead of the final, though, the Washington Post has confirmed that representatives of the Spain manager reached out to U.S. Soccer last Friday over the vacant managerial role with the USMNT.
Guessing he is just angling for a bigger contract but....

So this came up on my Facebook feed and initially I thought it was stupid but now I'm thinking about getting my kid a stake in this low level Scottish team for Christmas. He's hard to buy for and I think he will think it's ridiculous, hilarious and sort of cool.
