Oldest is having a Halloween party tonight and youngest is at one... So taking my middle kid and his friend to our first ever Nailers game. Right on the glass.

Haven't been to minor league hockey since WBS came to town when the igloo was still here. Or maybe a Cleveland Barons game- not sure but they are defunct for some time now. Lake Erie Monsters were backup but farther and not future Pens.

Can't wait!

Scott Wilson is playing well for WBS, but needs to stop boarding people. Was suspended for a game for checking from behind, then boarded someone again today. It's going to catch up to him if he gets a call up.

Was just offered free tickets and a bus ride (military appreciation night) to go watch Adam Payerl and the Milwaukee Admirals on Friday. Would have to convince the wife to take off work early, though. They're playing the Erie Monsters. Neat.

1700 at the Nailers game the other night, seemed to be maybe 1/5 capacity. It was Halloween and they had local businesses set up tables to hand out candy. By the time we got there they were just dumping candy into kids' bags. We were not going to run out of candy anytime soon before that.....

Brian Foster had a great night in net as the Nailers beat Quad City 2-1.

I'm going to Wheeling Friday night to see the Nailers take on the Solar Bears. Frosty Friday ($1 can beer) and Flat Screen Friday. Whoo-hoo!

I like going to Nailers game. This will be my first since they've remodeled the WesBanco Arena.

I had no idea that we have a local NAHL team. The Coulee Region Chill.

This ended up being cancelled, but it came around again and this time it's go for launch. So I'll be spending Saturday watching the Admirals face the Chicago Wolves.

So I'll get to see Patrick Mullen and Adam Payerl take on Gene Ubriaco (sort of, Wolves Director of Hockey Operations).

Heading to Hershey tomorrow night, can't wait. Will be fun to watch a rivalry game, and both teams are playing well this year. It's my Mom's first hockey game so that's always a treat.

Was poking around looking for more hockey and found out, in addition to the NAHL Chill above we also have the Lacrosse Freeze, an NA3HL team. They moved here this year from Flint, MI. What's the benefit of owning an NA3HL team. The players pay to play, and the tickets are $5, so how much could possibly be in it for an owner?

My wife and I did one of those selfie things to get on the jumbotron during the Admirals game. Didn't get on, somehow, but the bank that sponsored the segment contacted me on Twitter this morning and is sending us free tickets to attend the April 15th game. They're playing the Bakersfield....Condors, which is a thing. The Oilers farm team, I guess. Woof.

I saw all 4 Staal brothers in a 48 hour span last week.

Ended up staying in Raleigh and caught Jordan, Eric, and Marc in one arena during Eric's return to Carolina. Two days later, I ended up catching Jared in Charleston with the SC Stingrays (ECHL). The best thing I could say about Jared is that he looks like he belongs in the league.

Also spotted on the Stingrays was former Isles forward Trevor Gillies

So did Carolina's crowd that night.

I'd say it was a 50/50 split of fans with the Rangers fans being more vocal with only 70-80% of the arena being filled that night.

Lone Star Brahmas, located a few minutes outside of Fort Worth. They just wrapped up their season about two weeks ago.
