If Williams throws a catchable ball and the WR comes down with it while falling into the end zone he looks like a genius. But he has to know that those circumstances were unlikely given all factors.

It was a tremendous botchjob by both him and Caleb. Caleb is a rookie but he’s a QB and wears a “C”. There’s no reason he shouldn’t have gotten the team up to the line and called his own play just to hurry it up. Waiting for the coach to call a play when the clock was ticking down was poor on field leadership. I think both Jayden and Bo get the team to the line with a play called in that situation
But also the fact that Flus didn’t really have them prepared nor using the timeout was really bad too. He deserved to be fired a year ago so he absolutely deserves this

@Orlando Penguin
Shane Waldron is out as the Bears offensive coordinator.
Also needed to say Eberflus out as Bears HC but we’ll have to wait for
January 5 November 29 for that one.

Does he?

Basically every NFL evaluation/decision is confirmation bias...so, yes. It'd be called "gutsy" and "putting a lot of trust in his young QB" and a bunch of noise about "kickers have never made a field goal from 54.2 yards during a waning or waxing gibbous and Eberflus is so acutely aware of all that, so he went with a jump ball buzzer beater to beat the best team in football."
But since it fell incomplete, he's the opposite of all that and fired.

Is that basically saying that coaching is evaluated on outcome rather than process?
Don't disagree, I think the only case that I think bucks that was the Dan Campbell supporters after last year's NFC championship. There were a lot of folks defending that 4th down conversion failure.

Correct.
Did you win? If yes, it was right.
Did you lose? If yes, it was wrong.

Man, am I the only one that saw the line judge at the top of the screen blowing the play dead? I mean, the “correct call” was made, but I don’t see how you rectify him blowing the play dead with letting KC recover the ball.

I parlayed Bears and Raiders at +2900. Reasonably, could have had that in immediate retrospect...

Making the 2020 Steelers look like a legit team. Just crazy how many breaks have went their way this year.

Chiefs were only a +77 for the entire regular season last year and won the Super Bowl.
And in know the 2011 giants are probably the worst SB champs ever, but they had a -6 point differential.
I just think the wording of that tweet is funny… “statistical fact!”

You gotta adopt the Rutgers method. We don't return kicks. Touchbacks and fair catches.
