 That's just one of your many angry posts about the Pro announcement. Got hit with that FOMO.

Just for shits and giggles, I went to the Sony site to see if I could buy a PS5 Pro. Anniversary editions are a no go, obviously, but I can easily add the Pro to my cart. I mean, I'm not going to buy it but I'm surprised that it's still readily available.

Also I cancelled my order after I realized how stupid it was. Going to have to return the disk drive though cause it’s preparing to ship already.

Not that I think I have this kind of influence, but I hope I didn’t contribute to you cancelling. I was just giving you ****.

lol no you didn’t. I just realized it was an impulse thing I didn’t need. Plus PGX is coming up in like a week and I’d much rather speed money on stuff there.

The new Zelda game is a lot of fun. I'm having a really great time playing it. Playing Zelda is pretty damn cool and her echo wand is awesome.

Just a reminder PGX is this weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun) in Monroeville. I'll be there a good chuck of Saturday and possibly some of Sunday.

Thanks!!! The controller was the only thing i wanted lol
I was contemplating trying to snag one of the controllers but decided against it because I didn't really need it.

Fire up the ps5 at lunch. Checking on an email from work so I set the controller aside. Character starts moving to the right. Full on stick drift. Tried the simple fixes to no avail. I have another one I use with my laptop, but......dammit. Should've tried for the anniversary one.

Ive had a couple controllers succumb to drift so far. Sadly one was my GoW Ragnarok controller... Now it's just a fancy paperweight.

Have you tried resetting the controller? The only other home fix I've heard of is simply cleaning the thing well.

That's why I wanted an Edge. You can buy just the stick.

Not sure how PS works but with Xbox it can't treat the drift as centered if you reset. It always treats it as an input.

Oh there's a reset pinhole on the back of PS controllers, like on a phone. Restores factory defaults and such. I've heard that sometimes fixes controller drift.

(And when I say "I heard it" I mean I read it online after I bought a new DualShock)

I think I'm about 75% through Zelda wisdom of echoes. It's been so much fun, so many cool callbacks. Very refreshing gameplay after breath of the wild.

Diablo vessel of hatred is up next, looking forward to the new class.

Bought alien isolation for $7 today. Hope it's good

Good god it's an amazing game. It's super super stressful, and if you have anything in your house that's prone to making sudden unexpected noises at inopportune times (like, say, a beagle) it's that much more stressful. I personally didn't really care for the ending, but the 25+ hrs it took me to get there was stellar.

(I'm a completionist and IP fanboi so I spent a lot of time just wandering around the environment)
