I'd like to see the TNT studio get a run at that because I watched from 8-9:30 before the Pens game came on and I was nauseated by Bucci & Weekes within 5 minutes. Weekes sounded like he had never seen a goal before and every player that made any sort of play was 'a great addition' to whatever new team he was on. It's almost like the producers (and I know the guy who produced that for ESPN last night) told them to break out as much fake excitement as possible. I feel like we'd get a lot more measured commenting from the TNT crew.

Yes that's basically what Red Zone is. Hanson has a little commentary but not much. Bucci and Weeks didn't know what to do when someone scored, they tried too hard to make it a big deal. Less is more in this case imo

I'd rather it be 5 on 5 and somehow incentivize a win rather than playing for a shootout/tie. And stop bastardizing it with gimmicks.

Or just call it a tie at the end of regulation. That worked just fine for a long time.
