Three of the final four have 2 losses, and the other has one loss, to a team that went 4-4 in the MAC.
Meanwhile Ole Miss got Jaxson Dart to play the Gator Bowl and Kiffin has him throwing bombs up 31 in the 4th. To prove they belong in the playoff? Don't be Kentucky's only P4 win you knob and you'd make it.

Didn't someone figure out that Ohio state had the same amount of days off as Oregon did though.
Let's face it a single elimination playoff doesn't always crown the best team of the season. We shouldn't convolute it to try and do so. Less games to play in order to make the final means a better chance at making the final.
No one complains when a wild card team makes/wins the super bowl.

Bad comparison. They were taking the time between the Michigan game and the Tennesee game (even though Tennessee had the same layoff) and trying to equate it to Oregon.
It was 10 days for Ohio State (between 1st round and Rose Bowl) vs 25 for Oregon (B1G CCG to Rose Bowl). IMO that's a mildly significant difference.

Beat Michigan then?

There's always going to be some form of debate until all teams are in the same league and play a common opponent at least once throughout the season a la the NFL. but that won't happen for quite a while (if ever nor should it). I really don't think the format this year has been bad. But I will fully agree that my rooting interest team seems to have gotten favorable matchups. But they've also won everything they should have won. Not many other teams can say that this year.

Yeah, knowing how deranged college football fans are, probably calling out this kid live on the air wasn't a smart move:
https://awfulannouncing.com/espn/georgi ... icism.htmlESPN made a questionable production decision late in Thursday’s Sugar Bowl that has left a bad taste in the mouths of many.
Hours after Georgia walk-on Parker Jones was penalized for sideline interference when he contacted an official running down the white part of the sideline, ESPN decided to rehash the incident with less than two minutes left in the fourth quarter of a two-score game.
“The one play that should not be forgotten, will certainly be talked about in the postmortems, is the play at the beginning of the second quarter,” ESPN play-by-play announcer Sean McDonough said while the broadcast replayed the sideline interference penalty.
When the penalty occurred, Georgia was poised to continue its drive with a 1st and 10 from the Notre Dame 11-yard line during a scoreless game. Instead, the penalty backed Georgia up 15 yards to the 26-yard line. The Bulldogs ended up settling for a field goal to take a 3-0 lead.
Fast-forward to the final minute of the first half and the opening kickoff of the second half, and Notre Dame scores 17 points within one minute of game time to take a commanding 20-3 lead. Parker Jones’ penalty was well in the back of the minds of Georgia and Notre Dame fans alike.
By late in the fourth quarter, the Fighting Irish held a 23-10 lead. There are numerous moments to look back on as to why Georgia was in the position they were in. A strip-sack fumble inside their own red zone that lead to a Notre Dame touchdown to end the first half. Giving up a kickoff return for a touchdown to begin the second half. Being generally pedestrian on offense for the entire game.
Instead? ESPN chose to highlight a fifteen-yard penalty from the first half that didn’t even necessarily lead to Georgia leaving points on the board. It was a strange decision by ESPN’s producers.

because old people fall and that's what you're most likely to land on.
my mom was 77 when she died. she fell at home and broke her pelvis. she didn't die of the broken pelvis but that started it all. she went into a nursing home for rehab, ended up getting that pneumonia that old folks get in the nursing home and never recovered.

Also it's not always the fall that causes the hip to break. Sometimes old people brake hips that cause them to fall.

2 holding calls so far is probably more than the entire B1G conference play schedule lol
Credit where credit is due, Texas D is holding strong, but some self-inflicted mistakes are killing our offense. Henderson's unsportsmanlike in particular.

Oh Texas. Why would you call that defense with 29 seconds left in the half?
