Ulf can you do us a favor and wipe the water off the camera lens for this Akron niu game? This shabby camerawork is making #maction look like amateur hour

A chop block. Really? On a third down conversion when it's barely even below the waist.

A stupid call ruins an otherwise great game of football.

I can see why they called it a chop block
But I don’t think that’s the type of play that they are trying to prevent

Other than get a bad call against them, Badgers have done zippy in this 4th quarter

Georgia had a play from the two and simply just ran it right in. Looks fun

SEC could be interesting for the 2nd team in to the championship game. Assuming teams win out, The loser of Texas vs Texas A&M will be in a 5-way tie with Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and Ole Miss at 6-2!

That just means they automatically get 6 teams in the CFP and they forgo the conference championship game. ACC and big twelve get relegated to FCS

The umpire, whose call that is, probably saw how the defensive player's legs went out from under him and thought the RB's block was too low. They blew that one and if they hadn't, it would have been reeeeeeaaaaal interesting how that one ended.MrKennethTKangaroo wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 10:25 pm I can see why they called it a chop block

I mean, Wisky had the ball with a minute and a half left down 3 and threw a pick in like 3 plays, so it's not like they didnt get an additional opportunity.

Not mentioned here, but Kansas beat BYU so that's going to be interesting rankings-wise

It'll be fun to see how the committee shakes out the Alabama-Tennessee-Georgia-Ole Miss conundrum for tonight's bracket. But when it comes down to it, there's one team that isn't talked about that should be on the outside looking in.
Notre Dame.
They have the worst loss of anyone (Ole Miss's loss at home to Kentucky is second-worse) and their best win is that roadie at aTm. Is that best win enough to overcome the worst loss of any of the contenders? Fortunately, there's still 3 weeks of games to hash it all out.
