Honestly there’s an alternate universe where Pitt takes them to the limit but there was just a few too many opportunities pissed away. And obviously the 18-0 run at the end of the game didn’t help

Pitt sucks. Fire Capel, Tomlin, Narduzzi, Shelton, who cares. Tear this city down.

This team has no offense, it's just let Ish and Lowe make things happen. No one cutting to the hoop, no movement. When those two are both on, they're good but that's just not always the case. And even if they are, the drive and dish only works if these other bums hit their 40 threes they throw up a game

Played in 41 games over the past four years, and was a favorite to start at tackle this fall at Michigan

We need good offensive lineman. More than one, but one is a start.

Big hoops win last night over UNC. It's always nice to beat UNC but especially nice to see them break the losing streak by doing so.
15 points and 5 blocks by Austin; that was probably his best game as a Super Panther.

I saw on Pantherlair that a transfer lineman from ND could be in play, but I dont have the subscription anymore. Does that rumor have wheels?

I like all the psychos over on pantherlair bagging on spindler for being a “weak link” on notre dame’s line. Dude started all season and has got some starts last season while Pitt is over here losing to Toledo.

He’s a legacy, his dad was really good, and there is a 0% chance he makes a negative impact on the OL

Anthony Johnson, the transfer DT from last year that got hurt early on and had to quit football, is apparently still involved with the program as a grad assistant or on the recruiting side. He sent out a tweet this morning indicating that they've got someone on campus today, and Pete Nakos from On3Sports confirmed Spindler is "visiting an ACC campus today."

I hope it gets done because Kenny's post about this is 100% correct. If you're Pitt, any time you can take an established starter away from a blueblood/NIL-heavy program like ND, you do it. And that's the case whether you're coming off an ACC championship or a season where you saw your OL get manhandled for more than half the season, including a MAC front seven in your bowl game.

They're almost never going to do what tOSU did with guys like Judkins and Downs, adding surefire impact guys from those kind of programs. But if you can find guys who are in those two-deeps or even a little further down the depth chart at those schools and they're just looking for a better opportunity to play, you get them.

Are Persi and Spindler going to strike fear in the hearts of Ohio State and Alabama's front seven in 2025? Probably not, but that's not what Pitt needs. Pitt just needs them to better than what was out there last year, and they need to be better than what Pitt will mostly see against the teams on the 2025 schedule.
