Training camp opens today...

Russ's calf is sore, so he's not practicing.

Najee is upset he didn't get his option picked up.

Lots o' cap space, and Khan is open to trades/signings to make use of that space.

I'm predicting a Tomlin-esque 9-8 record and a wild card berth. Strong start with the early schedule, and then pain down the stretch run.

10-7 and a WC berth.

9-8 won't be good enough with the Bengals and Jets being in the mix this year.

Have to hope that the Texans run away with the south and the Colts and Jags stay at or below 9 wins. Chiefs get a free pass to the playoffs from the AFC west, and the east could have 3 playoff contenders. I think the Browns will be bad and Ravens will take a step back.

Najee should be upset, but not sure there's really a solution to that.

Time for Russ to have his Hossa redemption arc. I laughed at his Broncos time, and it was cathartic. This year I hope he has a comeback and isn't a punchline.

He is signed for this year. Do you mean the extension like he wants?

The only approval any Steeler should seek is to earn the approval from previous legends who have donned the black and gold. And if you’ve really earned their respect, they’ll say, “You could’ve played with us.”

Really a best case scenario getting Wilson where they did. Reminds me a lot of Lawerence Timmons. His first year he was just a 3rd down backer who would just need to chase the ball. And I think that’s how they use Wilson this year with roberts and queen the early down pair.

Also, ILB is apparently the hardest position on defense right now, so can’t expect rookies to just step right in.

I always love the flag flying up during a fight like that's going to do anything.

Also, this is nothing. They're competing. I feel like fights break out at every team's training camp every year.

Smart men. Only one QB1 available to practice and they lay him out.
